I’m assuming you are in internet marketing, and if you are I don’t need to assume you’re snowed under.
Even if you have outsourced everything – -
* your mail box is still filling up
* you have to keep abreast of broad new developments
* you have to keep abreast of new developments in your niche
* software is continually being improved and redeveloped
* strategies become outdated
* accounts need to be monitored
* you have to modify your outsourcing arrangements
* . . . . . ad infinitum

If you have dozens of websites then the above workload multiplies. You may also feel compelled to continually investigate all the work from home opportunities.
In addition if you perform your internet work from home there will be all the ‘home’ issues that keep interrupting you.
I think there is a case for having one single niche for success (not necessarily just one website).
Consider some of the wealthy and successful. Normally they are associated with just one area of expertise (unless you are Richard Branson of course). For example there’s – -
* Rupert Murdoch; news publishing; media
* Elvis; entertainment; acting
* Michael Phelps; swimming
* Margaret Thatcher; politics
It’s hard to imagine how they could have been such a success in two of these areas. Competitively there will always be someone breathing down your neck, and it takes concentrated effort and time to stay ahead.
There are some internet marketers who find it totally boring to just stay in one field, and they prefer to have multiple interests and multiple websites to keep life more exciting.
But what if you were to choose just one niche, plus it was a niche that you were particularly interested in? Even better, what if you were to have just one niche, plus you find it interesting, plus you already have some knowledge or expertise in that area?
Well it means sorting through all the emails about work-from-home opportunities.
FOCUS
Many marketers on the internet have say, product A over here, B over there, C over there, etc, and they are all unrelated. Wouldn’t it be more efficient to have just product A to start with, and then as the site(s) become more profitable to branch to a closely related product B.
In this way the two marketing efforts are complementary. You could continue to grow your business along these lines as you build up your expertise.
The longer you are involved with internet marketing the more you realise the value of time.
It’s so easy to pass the time instead of using the time. Mrs Thatcher grew up with the aim of not wasting any time at all, not even one minute. Living her whole life with that habit enabled her to accomplish a great deal and to become super-successful.
If you do internet work from home there is the potential for huge savings in time, and you can add to that savings due to focusing on one niche.
